Application Details for BONUS PROOF EP 300 V
Curtain Wall Insulation with Proof EP 300 V
With the growing urban population and limited construction space, the demand for usable areas is increasing day by day. Rising real estate values have made every square meter more valuable in line with zoning requirements, making spaces such as parking lots and storage areas increasingly sought after. To fully utilize available space, single-sided curtain wall applications are preferred in new constructions.
Considering the increasing population and limited space in cities, single-sided curtain wall applications insulated with bituminous proof membranes stand out as an ideal solution for modern construction. This method maximizes both the safety and usability of buildings, enabling sustainable and economical development. With our high-performance waterproofing product BONUS PROOF EP 300 V, which features elastomeric SBS additives and adheres fully to fresh concrete through concrete pressure and hydration, complete protection is achieved in a single layer for single-sided curtain walls.
In this context, BONUS PROOF EP 300 V provides an effective solution to the challenges of modern urbanization by ensuring long-lasting structures and optimizing space usage.
Application Details for BONUS PROOF EP 300 V
A waterproofing surface is created in front of the curtain wall using materials such as plywood, brick, pumice, or OSB, depending on the construction site conditions.
BONUS XPS PLUS is placed on the prepared surface, followed by an appropriate drainage board.
BONUS PROOF EP 300 V is secured to the drainage board using a pressure strip. The self-adhesive backing is removed, and gentle heat is applied with a torch, pressing the membrane firmly onto the drainage board and overlapping seams with a trowel.
After reinforcement, the fresh concrete poured adheres monolithically to the insulation layer, providing effective and swift waterproofing in a single application.
The gaps typically left in standard insulation applications are eliminated with single-sided curtain wall insulation. The use of self-adhesive bituminous Proof allows for efficient space utilization, while BONUS PROOF EP 300 V, adhering as a single layer to the surface, prevents lateral water migration, which is a high risk in standard applications. This ensures fast and accurate insulation by preventing potential lateral water movement.
The use of BONUS PROOF EP 300 V not only ensures waterproofing but also offers long-term durability and cost-effectiveness. This method provides an outstanding solution for the safety, efficiency, and economic sustainability required by modern construction.
